Dear HarmonySite administrator,
Here are the latest changes in your HarmonySite software. These are all live and working now. No major changes this time, just some small incremental improvements...
- All data-entry forms (where you enter details about events, members, songs, etc) have a new look. The new look is more modern, and more importantly, it's more "responsive" (mobile-friendly)
- If a member posts a comment, about an event, song, documents, poll, suggestion, etc, and elects to notify all members via email, the notification emails now contain the actual comment that the member entered, so it's no longer necessary to visit the website to read the comment. Also, those emails are now "branded", meaning they have your logo, colour scheme, etc.
- The "My Financial Status" box on the main Members home page now also shows dues AMOUNT (if this is configured in your system)
- When creating a new assessment (either by your music team or the member submitting a riser tape), it is now possible to select the voice part. This is useful for when a member is being assessed on song for a voice part that is not the voice part stored in their member record.
- Library items now have a new field: "Attachment, for members". This is separate from the attachment that only admins can see.
- Songs now have a new field: "Pitch blown". This is for when the pitch blown at the beginning of the songs is not the same as the key that the song starts in
- The "Venues" database has many new fields for each venue, such as various contact details, acoustics details, seating capacity, seating layout diagram, lighting, stage and sound details, etc.
- Each event's attendance system has a new tickbox, called "Members who indicate they are available get automatically added to the event's Roster/Members on Duty". If this box is ticked, then any member that indicates they are available for the event are automatically added to the event's list of "rostered" or "on duty" members.
